Three Classic Ladas

Here are three classic Ladas - versions of the very first model, VAZ-2101 - at Zhiguli Restaurant

Green, yellow and red - and they have already been mentioned on this blog at least a couple of times.

Also used as a dump for all kinds of garbage.

Here is a well-used craggy Land Rover with various off-road accoutrements and some damage especially to windshield.

Here is a Pobeda M-20, third series, serving as a craft beer outlet advertisement.

Note the two-tone coat (which cost extra).

Lada VAZ-2103

Here is a Lada VAZ-2103 parked in central Moscow today.

The Lada VAZ-2103, or simply the "Three", was a luxury version in the VAZ-2101, -02, -03, -04 and -06 line up.

In particular, it had a beautiful dashboard with a tachometer, still a rarity on many affordable 1970s cars.

This is the No. 4 Lada 2103 recorded on this blog.

The 2103 was replaced by the 2106 which looks similar to it but has differences.

GAZ-51 Truck

In only the first sighting for purposes of this blog, here is an iconic GAZ-51 truck.

The GAZ-51 was in production 1946 through 1975.

These trucks were also manufactured under the Soviet license in Poland (as the Lublin-51), North Korea (as the Sungri-58) and China (as the Yuejin NJ-130)

Volga GAZ-24-10

Here is a Volga GAZ-24-10.

In production from 1985 to 1992, it is also known as the Third Series of the Volga GAZ-24 and the last model in that family.

And it is only the No. 2 Volga GAZ-24-10 cataloged on this blog.

Sandbox PT Cruiser Convertible

Obviously it's crashed, probably rolled.
