ZAZ-968M and... Ghost Rider

Here is a Zaporozhets 968M supermini... with the Ghost Rider crushing it!

A ZAZ-968M supermini or city car, the last true Zaporozhets, i.e. Rear-Engined RWD Air Cooled!

And something looks like the Ghost Rider attempting to crush it.

The No. 6 ZAZ-968M on blog but only the No. 1 Ghost Rider.

Bikers' Christmas Tree.

An entire shoot after the jump.

Toyota Soarer

Here is a Toyota Soarer in the snows of Moscow (not necessarily from this snowless year)...

What is amazing is that this is only the No. 1 Soarer on blog... and for some reason I thought prior to posting that I had already done a few.

Per wikipedia, the Toyota Soarer is a personal luxury GT coupé that was produced from 1981 to 2005 by Toyota and was sold in Japan.

This one happens to be a third-gen Toyota Soarer aka Lexus SC 300 / 400.

MiG-25 on a Pedestal

Here is a MiG-25 in a town somewhere North of Moscow that I visited last summer.

A monument to the MiG-25.

The fastest and highest-altitude jet fighter in the world ever.

As of 2019, it remains the fastest mass-produced manned aircraft in operational service, and it has held that position since 1960s for over 50 years already!

I believe, it is capable of outrunning all known air-to-air and maybe even ground-to-air missiles and thus potentially escaping them even if they are aimed perfectly.

One of the few aircraft that was almost entirely made of stainless steel.

Dubna, corner of Tsentralnaya and Oktyabrskaya.

However, as regards operational status, remaining MiG-25s are operated only by Syria and Algeria, with Russia believed to have some in conservation.

Lada 112 Hood Art

Here is another Lada 112 (aka Lada VAZ-2112) which is a hatchback.

But only the no. 3 on blog so far.

About 14 years ago I did quite a lot of driving in a Lada 112 over a period of time or even several periods ending in 2008 and liked it too.

Nice hood (or is bonnet) pain job, I think.

The artifacts on the rear bumper almost match the hood paint scheme.
