GAZ-21 Volga Sedan Third Series

Here's another "Third Series" Volga GAZ-21 Sedan sighted recently.

This has got to be the 7th Volga GAZ-21 and the 5th "Third Series" Volga GAZ-21 on blog.

On the right is a Volga GAZ-31105 and on the left is a Lada VAZ-2115 sedan.

The distinguishing characteristics of a Third Series Volga GAZ-21 is a baleen grille and no deer figurine on the hood, while the "Second Series" had a shark (maw) grille and a deer figurine and the "First Series" had a star grille. 

It all has been mentioned on this blog already in my previous Volga posts but hey repetition is the mother of learning as they say somewhere.

Some notable idiot car collector once called them "butt-ugly" but they look right to me, beautiful even.

Things to note here a major front bench (no bucket seats) and a column shifter also a beautiful sky-blue speed-o-meter.

Volga GAZ-31105

Here is a Volga GAZ-31105.

The Volga GAZ-31105 was the last model of the Volga mid-size sedan and was a re-styled and upgraded version of the preceding model Volga GAZ-3110.

This one is also a post-2007 version which differs from the pre-2007 in the grille shape, also has an upgraded interior on which Germany's Hоеrmann Rawema и EDAG also worked, and other things.

But again post-2007 versions looked like in my pictures above and below.

There was also an extended wheel-base 31105.
