Fiat 500 L Lusso

Spotted yesterday (April 14, 2016) was this red Fiat 500 L (Lusso)... or so it is claimed.

The 1968-72 Fiat 500 L or Lusso was the penultimate version of the Fiat 500.

I've no idea if everything is consistent with it being a Lusso.

And here are pictures of the 1968 Fiat 500 F from my Gran Turismo blog. From which I am now quoting.

Last time I wrote on this blog we had this modern Fiat 500 and now here is the original Fiat 500 - a GT5 1968 Fiat 500 F.

Pictured in Avorio Antico, it has made it all the way to Japan and is now parked at Kyoto - Shoren-in.

The original Fiat is also known as the Nuova 500 and was designed by Dante Giacosa.

It is called "Nuova" because it was not created completely from scratch but was based in some ways on the 1936 Topolino.

Produced in several modifications from 1956 until 1975. Resurrected again in 2007.

 Engine: air-cooled, rear-mounted, rear-wheel drive.

Performance: top speed of 95 km/h.

The Nuova 500.

And now at Kyoto - Gion
