Tesla

For completion's sake, here is a Tesla at a charging pod in Moscow recently.

I am not into, and not a fan of, e-vehicles in general and specifically not into, or a fan of, of Musky's Teslas, so I won't ID it other than saying that it is a Tesla.

By way of a bonus, here is some photography from walking the adjacent streets in Moscow in October of 2021 with some text in English.

Old Style Trailer Home

Here is an old style trailer home which are known here in Russia as wagon homes and were and are used for industrial purposes especially to provide temporary accommodation to shift workers at some distant locations like in the north, etc.

 Autumn landscape.

The interior has been trashed, what do you expect, it is decades old.

Toyota Peace Van

Here is something of a political statement - a Toyota Syria - Russia For Peace Van.

Found somewhere in downtown Moscow, near some posh residences.

As to the van id itself, it is a fifth-gen (2004-2019) Toyota HiAce, I think.

MV Mikhail Tanich

 Ship spotting time...

... here is the and only river cruise liner MV Mikhail Tanich passing me by on the Upper Volga at Kimry, Russia.

Actually one of my life long ambitions, as yet unfulfilled, is to go on a long cruise down the Russian rivers - from the Northern seas to the South and back.

Bonus - some views from Kimry in September 2021 after the jump.

Kombi

Here is another Izh, an Izh 2125 Kombi on an overcast and sometimes rainy September 2021 day.

It's the number 3 Izh Kombi on the blog.

A pre-1982 model.

Izh 412

And here is a very fine specimen of the Izh 412 (Moskvitch-412) car.

With a pair of yellow fog lights too!

The Izh 412 is the Moskvitch 412 model but produced by Izh at its Izhevsk plant, rather than by the Moskvitch factory in Moscow.

The Izh-412 is a small family car produced by IZh in Izhevsk from 1967 to 1982 (also known as Izh-412), a near total copy of the Moskvitch 412.

This one is a pre-1969 mode, and don't you just love the fascia!

It has running lights on the C pillar too.

The green green grass of home.

The number 4 Izh 412 car on blog.

No fin taillights though any more (like on the 408).
