Food trucks is a sub-topic of car spotting going on on this blog, and here's a Renault Kangoo coffee van.

Usually found here in Moscow  in summer time at parks and other such recreation locations.

A Renault Kangoo I, face-lifted, probably, above. But the below picture is probably from a different coffee van.

Moscow Food Truck Festival April 2016

Went there last year so when I heard of a food truck festival this year and at the same location not far from home, we went there also last Sunday 24.04.2016.

More food trucks. As you will see, many are MB-based trucks, also some Fords and some Danish style sausage wagons.

Something called Sweet Tokyo.

Hell's Pizza... saw them last year.

Air Van Food Truck x 2

Early last month (September 2015) I went to this Mosquarium aquarium facility in Moscow and saw these two Air Van food trucks on the approaches to it.

This is the first of the two.

Nice color.

This one sells burgers and hod dogs.

The second one (below) sells Uzbek-themed food under brand name of Chaikhona, pretty big in Moscow.

I think I saw it and reported on it before when it was at a slightly different location.

That time I wrongly identified it as an Airstream camper food truck.

Well, turns out it is not an Airstream but an Air Van and the Russian company that makes them says it is their own development, built and sold by them but acknowledges that they are inspired by the legendary Airstream van.

 

You can see some wordplay at work here - back and forth between the two languages - English and Russian, such as:

Plov, also Pilav, is more commonly known internationally as Pilaf.

Food Trucks

Food trucks!

So I went today to this Food Truck Fest here in Moscow, had lunch and saw some food trucks.

Except I am too lazy to properly research their makes and catalog them so I'll just name the marque and lump them all together as "food trucks undefined", see my List of Spots at bottom of this blog's right-hand panel. 

 Number one is an MB van-based food truck serving chef's burgers (designer burgers).

Here is Pizza Love... which in Russian sounds like Пицце лов meaning "Pizza catcher".

Another small sausage truck type of food truck offering Taq Taq Mexican (?) burritos.

It says burritos but what they offer is more like tacos, square-like shaped.

A Peugeot van-based food truck.
