Spring Sighting - Moskvitch 412

Here is a Moskvitch 412; the No. 3 sighting of a Moskvitch 412 since start of blog.

The Moskvitch 412 was a small family car produced in Moscow during 1967-75.

Production ended  in 1975 so this car can't be less than 42 years.

The rectangular headlights make it a post 1969 version, pre-1969 versions had either two or quad round headlights (which were sometime tanned and quite popular).

In the bumper you can see a hole for a crank starter.

Whether a real or fake Brabus, I am not much into Mercedes Benzes so can't even identify the model.

But I have heard of Brabus which is a tuner of Mercedes Benz cars and others.

Lincoln Town Car

My occasional car spotting activities continue and so does my Lincoln Town Car count. I think today's pictured car is the number 5 Lincoln Town Car on this blog and the number 3 second gen.

It's a second-generation Lincoln Town Car, I think.

Parked next to some restaurant off Stary Arbat street in central Moscow.

Ford Fiesta Sedan

Here's a brand-new Ford Fiesta Sedan.

While the Ford Fiesta is available across much of the world, certain body styles are geographically restricted.

The 6th Generation Ford Fiesta Sedan in particular is not available in Europe outside of Russia but it is available in other parts of the world.

However it's not the most characteristic of sedans looking almost like a liftback.

LADA XRAY: Over a Year in Production

It's been over a year since start of LADA XRAY production.

Still no proper sighting. I think I saw something that could be it only one time but wasn't able to take pictures.

GAZ-63 on a Trailer

Here is a very recent sighting of what I think is a GAZ-63 truck on a trailer.

The GAZ-63 is an AWD (4 x 4) version of the GAZ-51.

Evo VI Two Snowmen Edition

Here is a Mitsubishi Lancer with two snowmen on the spoiler.

And unless it is a regular Lancer done up to look like one, it is also an Evo.

And if it is really an Evo, then it can only be an Evo VI and on balance I think it is.

The front seats say T. Makinen... Makinen (T. M.) edition?

I also have pictures of a slightly different Evo VI from Gran Turismo 5.

Datsun on-Do...

With something less than complimentary on the back window.

The Datsun on-Do is a re-badged version of the Lada Granta.

Oka

Oka no. 3 spotted since start of blog.

The Oka (VAZ-1111) is a city car made by Lada and later other factories from Soviet times until 2008.

Good to still see them on the road.

Lada 2114 Post of Russia

Here is a Lada VAZ-2114, Post (Office) of Russia livery.

The Lada VAZ-2114, also known as the Samara 2 (hatchback) and occasionally referred to as Lada 114, is a face-lifted version of the first-gen Lada Samara (the Lada VAZ-2109 specifically).

This one wears a Post of Russia livery.

Popularly known as the "fourteen" in Russia.

ZAZ-968M

Here is a ZAZ 968M Zaporozhets.

The ZAZ-968M is the second (and last) generation of the ZAZ Zaporozhets rear-wheel drive air-cooled supermini car.

As such, it is the last true Zaporozhets, i.e. air cooled and rear-wheel drive.

2nd Gen Lincoln Town Car

Old or still recent, American road barges are a sub-theme of this car spotting blog of mine (but I don't look for them intentionally), and so here is a second-generation Lincoln Town Car in a winter setting.

This one falls under the latter category - still recent from the early 1990s.

A full-size car, i.e. length over 5,000 mm.
